- Mesh adds less heat than solid fabric — it is cooler to wear than a normal shirt, not a cooling garment
- Size by back length: measure along the spine from the collar to the base of the tail, and check the chest too if your dog is broad

Not the right fit if…
- You want it to cool your dog down — it does not. This is not an evaporative cooling vest; wetting it will not turn it into one
- You are walking in real heat — no garment protects against that. Walk early or late, test the pavement with your hand, and carry water
- Your dog is flat-faced, elderly or heavy-coated — those dogs are at genuine risk in heat. Heavy panting, drooling, wobbliness or collapse is an emergency: cool the dog and call your vet immediately

Sizes follow the supplier's measurements, listed in the details above. Measure your pet lying down, nose to tail base, and add 15–20% for beds; for collars and harnesses measure the neck and the widest part of the chest. Between two sizes? Take the larger one. If the size is wrong on arrival, we replace it free, no return needed.
