Fast eaters: maze bowls, puzzle feeders and lick mats slow a meal from thirty seconds to several minutes. Match the bowl width to your dog's muzzle — a maze too narrow for the face gets pushed around the floor instead of eaten from.
Raised and tilted stands suit stiff necks and short muzzles. One thing to know first: a Purdue study following 1,600+ large and giant-breed dogs linked raised feeders to higher bloat risk. If your dog is large, deep-chested or a fast eater, ask your vet before raising the bowl.
Bowl pushers: weighted and anti-tip designs, or a non-slip mat underneath.
Out and about: folding bowls, squeeze bottles, and bottle-and-bowl sets. Check the capacity against the walk; 300 ml is a top-up, not a day's water.
If you use a puzzle feeder, fill it from the daily ration rather than adding treats on top.
