Fitting it
- Size by chest girth — measure right behind the front legs, which is the widest point and the one that decides the fit. Size up if between two
- Two fingers under every strap, and check behind the front legs for rubbing after the first three walks
- Re-check the fit on a growing dog every couple of weeks
Not the right fit if…
- You want it to stop pulling — no harness does that alone. A front clip makes pulling unrewarding while you train; this is a back clip, which is comfortable and gives you the least control over a puller

Measure your pet lying down, nose to tail base, and add 15–20% for beds; for collars and harnesses measure the neck and the widest part of the chest. Between two sizes? Take the larger one.
