How to choose
A lift sling or support belt lets you take part of your dog's weight on the stairs, into the car and out to the yard, without bending your back or lifting the whole dog. Which one you need depends on where the weakness is.
Rear-leg lift sling. For dogs whose back end has gone weak while the front still works: hip dysplasia, arthritis, the weeks after knee or hip surgery. A mesh panel with two leg openings sits on the hips and thighs, clear of the belly. Sizes S–XL, dogs up to about 30 kg (66 lb).
Front & rear support belt. For big dogs, or dogs that need steadying at both ends. A wide padded panel (16–32 cm) under the chest or under the hips, with an adjustable handle so you can walk upright. Chest to 76 cm, belly to 70 cm. Order one of each for both ends.
| Rear-leg sling | Front belt | Rear belt | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Weak back legs, dogs under ~30 kg | Front-end steadying, large dogs | Weak hips on large dogs |
| Sits | Hips and thighs, open center | Under the chest | Under the belly, in front of the hind legs |
| Sizes | S–XL by waist and thigh | S–L by chest girth | S–L by belly girth |

Before you buy anything, do the towel test. Fold a bath towel into a band, slide it under your dog's belly in front of the hind legs, and lift gently while they try a step. If your dog moves better with that small lift, a sling will help. If the front legs still buckle, you need front support instead. Two minutes, and it costs nothing.
Every product here has a measure-how line, a chart in centimeters and inches, and a free size swap if the first one doesn't fit: send one photo of the tape on your dog and we send the right size, with nothing to ship back.

These are mobility aids, not medical devices. If your dog's weakness is new, sudden or getting worse, talk to your vet before buying support gear — sudden hind-leg weakness can have causes that need treating, not lifting.
